What are the benefits of using meviy?

meviy is a 3D manufacturing platform by MISUMI that allows parts that previously had to be ordered using 2D drawings to be quoted, ordered and manufactured using only 3D data. Therefore, designers and buyers can significantly reduce the effort required to manage drawings, delivery dates and quality. In addition, errors in the creation of 2D drawings and errors in the generation of standard product preparation part numbers can be completely eliminated.

Do I have to install software in order to use meviy?

Besides installing a compatible Internet browser (such as（Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge）), there is no additional software needed. There is no need for any setup by the customer, even when we upgrade the service.

You can use your MISUMI web service account (a WOS ID permitted to get quotations or make purchases). Learn about making a new account (free) or granting permissions here.

Is the uploaded data kept secure?

It is carefully handled on our own servers. We share manufacturing information with our collaborating factories during manufacturing, but it is not used for any purpose other than manufacturing. However, please be aware that we may use uploaded data statistically when considering expanding our service coverage in the future.

ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN

To continue to grow and offer our customers a wider range of products, materials, and other options, we are launching a discount campaign for new customers to mark the occasion. All new meviy customers will receive a 30% discount on all uploaded parts in the period from January 15^th, 2024 - April 30^th, 2024.
Combined with our permanent Economy Shipping offer, you can therefore receive a total discount of 44% on all custom parts ordered during this period. We define new customers as all companies that have not yet placed a meviy order with their customer code.

Where can I see which account type my customer account has?

You can see the type of your account in My MISUMI.

How can I change my CAD User account into Corporate User?

To change your CAD User account to a Corporate User account, you need an upgrade. To do this, we need your company address and VAT identification number. Alternatively, the attachment of a commercial proof is sufficient.

Where can I see my customer code?

A customer code is created after your registration as a Corporate User and can be viewed in My MISUMI.

Where can I see if I get the discount?

To see the discount, you must upload your custom part in the 3D viewer and request a quote for it. The quote is then automatically created and displayed with your 30% new customer discount.
