Create a MISUMI user account

Visit the MISUMI website and create a MISUMI account first. You need this account to use meviy, but can also use it for the MISUMI shop for a wide range of standard parts.

What are the advantages of using meviy?

meviy is a 3D manufacturing platform that allows you to estimate, order, and produce parts using only 3D data –
eliminating the need for 2D drawings. This significantly reduces the workload for managing drawings, delivery schedules,
and quality control, saving valuable time for designers and purchasing teams. Additionally, it completely avoids
errors in creating 2D drawings and generating part numbers for standard products.

Do I need an account for meviy?

All you need to use meviy is a MISUMI user account. Registration is completely free of charge.

Do I have to install software in order to use meviy?

Besides installing a compatible Internet browser (such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge), there is no additional software needed.
There is no need for any setup by the user, even when we upgrade the service.

Which CAD file formats are supported by meviy?

Most major native and neutral file formats are supported.

Neutral file formats:
STEP (.step/.stp), Parasolid (.x_t/.x_b/.xmt/.xmt_txt), ACIS (.sat/.sab), JT (.jt), PRC (.prc)

Native file formats:
Autodesk Inventor (.ipt), CATIA V5 (.CATPart), Creo (.neu/.prt/.xpr), Pro/Engineer (.prt/.neu/.xpr),

How long will the files I upload be stored on my account?

Files will be stored until the user deletes either the files or his account.

Is the uploaded data kept secure?

The uploaded data is handled securely on our own servers. During the manufacturing process, we share necessary information
only with our trusted partner factories, and it is used exclusively for production purposes. We do not use your
data for any other activities. However, please note that we may analyse uploaded data in a strictly statistical manner
to help us improve and expand our services in the future.
